Recently got back into the metaphorical painting saddle by painting the Skywardens from the Kharadron Overlords start collecting set. I really liked how this scheme came together.

The base metallic bronze is an airbrushed coat of Liquitex Iridescent Rich Bronze over black primer. Then washed with GW’s Cryptek Armourshade Gloss, dry brushed with Sycorax Bronze and highlighted with Canoptek Alloy. The cloth and leathers are loosely pulled from this tutorial by Mengal’s Miniatures. The cloth is Incubi Darkness, washed with Akhelian Green, and highlighted with Kabalite Green, while the leather is Zandri Dust, washed with Seraphim Sepia and highlighted with Ushabti Bone.
For the silver weapons and panels I used Leadbelcher, Nuln Oil and a Stormhost Silver highlight. The glowing eyes and spheres were Blue Horror, with a wash of Drakenhof Nightshade, more Blue Horror and white.
I painted these Thunderers from the same set last year, with mostly the same scheme.

Peachy and Wade from Warhammer TV were nice enough to feature me on one of their Hobby Roundups!
